What Are Points?

Points are the foundation of the rewards program. You earn them automatically with every XEPPT transaction—whether through the app or with your Visa Card. The more points you collect, the closer you get to upgrading your profile and unlocking new rewards.

What Are Profile Levels?

These are based on the number of points you earn in a 30-day period. As you level up from Silver to Gold to Platinum, you’ll unlock enhanced benefits like lower fees and smarter financial perks.

Momentum is XEPPT’s loyalty program that rewards you for every transaction. As you accumulate points, you’ll move up through the profile levels—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—each unlocking lower transaction fees.

Your profile level is based on the number of points you earn each month. Once you reach a higher tier, your level is locked in for 30 days. After that, your level for the following month will reflect the points earned in the previous one.

If you don’t earn enough points to maintain your tier, you’ll move down a level, but you can always climb back up. Your dashboard makes it easy to track your progress and see how close you are to leveling up or maintaining your current status.

There’s no need to opt in or activate the program. As soon as you start using your XEPPT Wallet or Card to complete eligible transactions—such as sending money, paying bills, or loading funds—you’ll begin earning Momentum points. These points count toward your profile level, which unlocks additional rewards like reduced transaction fees.

You earn Momentum points by completing everyday transactions with your XEPPT Wallet or Prepaid Visa Card. Points are awarded based on transaction type and amount spent. Here’s how it breaks down:

Send money to XEPPT account: 1 point per $200 CAD
Send money by Interac e-Transfer: 1 point per $200 CAD
Send money to a bank account: 1 point per $250 CAD
Load balance from a linked bank account: 1 point per $150 CAD
Load balance from a linked card: 1 point per $100 CAD
Pay a bill through XEPPT: 1 point per $50 CAD

Your point totals are visible in the My Points dashboard.

Momentum includes three profile levels based on the number of points earned in a 30-day period:

  • Silver: 0–299 points
  • Gold: 300–599 points
  • Platinum: 600+ points

You can view your current level, progress, and how many points you need to reach the next tier in your dashboard.

Your Momentum profile level automatically updates as soon as you earn enough points to qualify for the next tier. No manual steps are needed. For example, if you reach 300 points within a 30-day period, your account is immediately upgraded from Silver to Gold.

Each level in the Momentum program unlocks progressively lower transaction fees:

The higher your level, the more you save across key XEPPT services.

You have 30 days to earn points toward upgrading or maintaining your profile level. Each Momentum period lasts 30 days, during which your activity is tracked. Your level is then reviewed and reset based on your total points at the end of the period.

Once you level up, your profile benefits remain active for the full 30-day period—even if your point total drops. After the period ends, your profile level is re-evaluated. If your points fall below the requirement for your current tier, you’ll move down one level. You can always earn your way back up by meeting the point threshold again in a future period.
